It was nice for a 4 star hotel, staff was great, location was great, for the most part everything you’d want. The WiFi was really bad though, it would randomly disconnect and always have poor signal. It’s 2023, you can do better

Can’t say enough good things about Hotel Airone. It’s one of the few nicer hotels in the area, and they really go out of their way to make your stay special/easy. The rooms are clean with AC and the service is top-notch — front desk staff always willing to help with anything you need and the waiters are great too. Their restaurant is conveniently located by the pool and the menu selection is solid too. Breakfast is included and it’s essentially continental, with just about everything you can imagine. Definitely worth staying here if you’re visiting Elba/Portoferraio. Loved it!

The hotel does not correspond to 4-star quality and should have a maximum of 3 * or less! The equipment is old and worn. The bathroom stinks. The rooms are very small and austere. The air conditioning is inefficient and noisy. ATTENTION: The hotel beach is dirty, small, rocky, overgrown with green algae. In the official photos of the hotel it looks big and with fine sand, but it definitely doesn't look like that now! THIS IS NOT A HOTEL “DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH” as stated on booking.com! The hotel is clean. It offers very good dinners and breakfasts. The city is far away to walk. The only advantage is convenient parking.

The place is not so bad, but is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I've been to much better places for half the price. The rooms don't have a sea view, and the bedroom smelled funny, like chemicals, I didn't liked it. I'm not happy with the price-quality relation.

I usually go there for a walk, it's a private area (it belongs to the hotel) but it's opened to the public. the garden is beautiful, there are a lot of flowers; there are also a small field of grass and a pool. I don't use these facilities because I'm not a guest at the hotel, but I can say that the garden and the area around the hotel are always nice thanks to the gardner and the staff working for the hotel.

The hotel resort was great, we stayed only for 3 nights but it was enough to relax and get some beach and pool time. The free taxi boat to the nearby beaches was very handy, although there are better beaches (e.g. Laicona) to go by car. In all, great experience but a bit pricey.

Loved it there. I stayed in with my boyfriend for a couple of nights and hands down it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Loved the place, the food, the people. Everything. I totally recommend it and can't wait to go there again soon.

Excellent location, two pools and a Jacuzzi, a wonderful park with a lake and a great walk around it, nice rooms with all sorts of comforts, excellent breakfast and restaurant. Just a few kilometers from Portoferraio's harbor, private beach, scuba diving center, bike rental, everything you need is there...
